Who We Are
Show Up, Stand Out is a free program in Washington, D.C. from the Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants (OVSJG).
The program aims to improve school attendance by providing support to parents and families to help get their kids to school on time every day. At Show Up, Stand Out, we believe that students thrive when they are attending school regularly and getting the most out of their education.
Our goal is to offer support to families with children who have had missed 5 or more days of school unintentionally. Every situation is different. Our team members have the expertise and resources to develop tailored plans to assist more than 4,000 students and their families each year.
